5-Day Ol Pejeta Rhino and Maasai Mara Safari

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be warmly met by our driver-guide and taken to your hotel. We will coordinate your pickup based on your flight details.

Depending on your arrival time, spend the day relaxing or exploring Nairobi's local attractions. In the evening, gather for a brief safari orientation before a restful night’s stay ahead of your journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy tomorrow morning.

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing Nairobi. Drive north through lush agricultural landscapes, taking in beautiful views of Mount Kenya as you cross the equator.

Arrive at O l Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across this pristine sanctuary.

Look for the Big Five and visit the Sweet waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only home for rescued chimpanzees in Kenya, before returning to your camp for dinner.

After breakfast, enjoy a brief morning game drive e-n route out of O l Pejeta, catching a glimpse of its famous black and white rhinos. Depart the region and descend into the breathtaking scenery of the Great Rift Valley.

Travel past Narok town and journey deep into the vast savannas of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your camp or lodge for a fresh lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive through the golden plains to spot your first Mara lions and elephants.

Spend a spectacular full day tracking the abundant wildlife of the Maasai Mara. With a packed picnic lunch to maximize your time in the reserve, you will traverse diverse habitats ranging from open grasslands to riverine woodlands.

Your guide will track resident prides of lions, leopards resting in trees, and cheetahs scanning the plains. Visit the Mara River to observe large pods of hippos and crocodiles before heading back to the lodge for a relaxed evening and dinner.
