Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve | Scenic Drive & Afternoon Game Drive
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Wildwave Safaris for a short safari briefing before beginning your journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
Enjoy a scenic drive through Kenya’s beautiful countryside, with opportunities to admire the changing landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch, followed by some time to relax and refresh.
Later in the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive in search of the Big Five and other incredible wildlife. Enjoy the breathtaking savannah scenery as the African wilderness comes alive before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 & 3: Explore the Masai Mara – Wildlife, Romance & Adventure
During your stay in the Masai Mara, choose from the following experiences depending on your interests and preferred pace of travel.
Option 1: Full-Day Game Drive
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the spectacular Masai Mara National Reserve, accompanied by your experienced safari guide. Enjoy wildlife viewing in search of the Big Five and other fascinating animals, with a packed picnic lunch served in the wilderness. Capture unforgettable photographs and immerse yourselves in the beauty of the African savannah.
Option 2: Morning & Afternoon Game Drives
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is often more active. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the late morning relaxing at your leisure. Enjoy a refreshing swim, unwind with a book, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and other wildlife before returning to the lodge.
Option 3: Hot Air Balloon Safari & Cultural Experience
For an unforgettable adventure, opt for an optional hot air balloon safari at USD 490 per person. Begin before sunrise with a transfer to the launch site, followed by a spectacular balloon flight lasting approximately one hour. Soar above the vast savannah as the sun rises, offering breathtaking views of the landscape and wildlife below.
After landing, enjoy a memorable bush breakfast before continuing with game viewing, subject to the day's arrangements. You may also visit a traditional Maasai cultural village at an additional cost of USD 30 per person, where you can learn about Maasai traditions, lifestyle, and cultural heritage.
Return to the lodge later in the day to freshen up, relax, and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Fly to Ukunda (Diani Beach)
Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive in the Masai Mara, offering a final opportunity to spot wildlife and capture beautiful photographs before departing the wilderness. Afterwards, transfer to the airstrip for your domestic flight from the Masai Mara to Ukunda Airstrip in Diani.
Upon arrival, meet your transfer driver and proceed to Diamond Leisure Beach & Golf Resort for check-in. Spend the rest of the day unwinding on Diani’s stunning white-sand beaches, enjoying the tropical atmosphere and turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 5: Diani Beach Bliss – A Romantic Day in Paradise
You have a full day of relaxation with an option of a variety of activities and sports offered by the resort. Try out the mini-golf game or enjoy a game of tennis. Later head to the ocean. Surrounded by premier diving sites, it is a gateway to an underwater wonderland. After lunch, take a discovery stroll around the coastal town of Diani. Diani opens onto a vast expanse of white sand and it is probably the most picturesque of Kenya’s beaches.

Day 6: Departure Day – Diani Beach to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast at the resort before checking out at a time arranged according to your flight schedule. You will be transferred to Ukunda Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi, where you will connect with your international flight back home.
